Founded in 2008
Bosclad began as a trusted labour supplier for main contractors across the UK, primarily operating in London and surrounding counties. Under the leadership of Scott Bosley, our teams of highly skilled tradesmen quickly earned a reputation for quality, reliability, and flexibility, leading to strong industry relationships and repeat business.
As our expertise grew, so did our opportunities. In 2011, we secured a prestigious labour contract for the Silverstone Raceway Pits and Paddock.
The cutting-edge “Wing” design presented unique challenges, but with a team of 60+ expert roofing and cladding specialists, we successfully delivered the project to the highest standards, receiving praise from architects and main contractors alike. This success led to another major opportunity—supplying teams for the construction of the London Olympic Stadium and Olympic Village, which remains a key accommodation hub today.
Company Growth
Supply & Fitting Our Own Contracts
By 2013, Bosclad naturally transitioned into supplying and fitting our own contracts, leveraging our skilled workforce and industry knowledge to provide a full-service solution. Our approach has remained the same since day one: we don’t move on to the next job until the current one is completed to perfection. This commitment to quality and client satisfaction has helped us build long-term relationships, with clients who have been with us for over 35 years.
In 2016, we expanded our services by investing in our first mobile cherry picker for roof surveys and minor repairs. This quickly evolved into a high-demand service, leading us to acquire the VTX 240, a highly versatile platform capable of reaching 24 metres high and even 3 metres below ground. Our clients trust us for safe and efficient high-level access solutions, and this division of our business continues to grow.
The Silverstone Wing
In 2011, Bosclad were appointed as a labour supplier to major contractors on one of the most ambitious motorsport infrastructure projects in the UK — the iconic Silverstone Wing. With a team of 60+ specialist roofing and cladding operatives, we delivered the project to the highest standards, earning praise from both architects and main contractors alike.
It was a defining moment for the business — proof that Bosclad’s workforce could perform at the very highest level, on one of the most high-profile builds in the country.
The Olympic Village 2011
That same year, our reputation on the Silverstone project opened the door to another landmark contract — supplying teams for the construction of the London Olympic Village. Bosclad were responsible for fitting all of the external facades across the development, a large-scale programme of works carried out to the exacting standards demanded by a project of global significance.
The Olympic Village remains a key accommodation hub in London today, and the facades Bosclad installed are a lasting part of that legacy.
